"Growing up I had one aim, one target. It was very simple; sacrifice your time by studying hard and you will see the results you want. It's a theory most of us live by from a young age until our early 20's. We had control over our own fate, no one else can make us successful or decide if we fail. Once I put down my pen in my last exam at university, I felt exhilarated. I felt that all my hard work meant I had opened all the doors to success and that was it, my journey to starting my career would begin. I studied Marketing and I loved it. I was ready to start working. I didn't feel nervous or scared of whether I could do the job. I was content that I had the knowledge, skills and fire to succeed. A year had passed and then another. After applying for so many jobs and becoming experienced in nothing but interviews; I soon started to loose hope. My motivation, fire and excitement for my career turned into fear and anxiety. The system and the competition didn't care about my capabilities, degree, or my ability to work. It had control over my fate. No matter how hard I worked, how many internships or voluntary experience I had under my belt; I had no control. I've heard many people mention that after graduation life begins. I felt like someone had pressed pause. I decided to take it into my own hands and start my own venture. As a Muslim, I had trust in Allah and the path he had planned for me. So I spent hours before and after work to make my own career. I made a promise to myself that no one else would determine my success accept Allah and myself. Three months ago I became the founder and editor of Elmimag.com. I am still at the beginning of my journey, however I don't have to wait for someone else to press play". #SomaliSideways.

  2. As many of you know, I've had a Fendi thing for a while now. The 2Jours, the 3Jours, the fun charms, the Peekaboo and, of course, the classics-Fendi finds a way to make it all feel new every season, with new embellishments, themes and sizes. I, personally, like this longchamp outlet approach. Stick with the bags doing really well for you, update them often, and then offer a new silhouette every so often to keep your lineup fresh: it's a great hermes replica brand strategy. The Fendi Baguette can easily be considered one of the most iconic bags of the modern handbag era; it started out among fashion people and crescendoed with Carrie Bradshaw and the many versions she carried on Sex and the City. I had my hands on one of the newer versions in the dior outlet past few weeks and fell in love. The Fendi Baguette Whipstitch Leather Shoulder Bag pairs the expected shape with an added whipstitch trim touch. Keeping in line with replica handbags uk what many bag designers are moving toward, the guitar shoulder strap is removable and the sample Fendi sent me to play with had a matching whipstitch shoulder strap, which really makes the bag pop. The best part: Fendi has a plethora of strap options so you can customize your bag any way your heart desires.
