Poetry Corner - Conundrum

I wonder why you do it,

Why you get up everyday.

We all have our motives,

All have a reason to pray.

I wonder what we'll say to him,

When we meet him on that day.

When he asks us that dreaded question,

"were all those hours worth the pay?"

I wonder what success is.

You probably wonder too,

Will we ever taste it?

Or is this an everlasting queue?

One thing i dont wonder about..

Is the outcome of all this wondering.

For a man who overthinks things; is better off not thinking at all.
